Awww, so cute! We had a pet cow once & we called her Bessie. She had the most beautiful big brown eyes with long, dark eyelashes. Little did I & my sisters know that Bessie was going to be butchered come fall. We always fed & watered Bessie before & after school. Imagine our surprise when we came home from school & Bessie was gone. When our Dad told us where Bessie went we all cried & called him a murderer. None of us would eat beef that whole winter. My Dad learned a lesson & we never raised a cow again. He would buy one from a local farmer & we were none the wiser.
