People showed off family relics they have kept for decades

Family heirlooms are among the greatest treasures we could ever hold dear in life. For me, cherishing the resilient bicycle owned by my grandfather never gets old. I just love to view it in my garage and still get to ride it often even today after much maintenance...
I've gathered a few beautiful family relics displayed by people on the internet along with their comments which I know you'll love. Here they are:
#1 This beautiful Heirloom engagement ring passed down from my great grandmother means the world to me.
#2 Look how neat my grandma's blender looks after so many years of usage...and dad still uses this Oster baby every single night.
#3 Still got this nearly designed dress of my great grandmother from the 1890s.
#4 Mom bought this pressed back wooden chair back in 1970...
#5 Honored to wear this lovely headpiece that belonged to my grandmother at my own wedding.
#6 This priceless set of Limoges porcelain belonged to my great aunt and we still use them to this day.
#7 My grandma's grandma made this lovely ceramic Christmas tree...
#8 This quilt was sewn by my great great great great great (5x) grandmother and we’ve always used it ever since

I have an antique lamp that used oil and a wi h passed from my grandmother. Dad had it converted to electric, but not drilled to accommodate a cord. It can still be used with oil and a wick. It has flowers on the base and shade., plus I have an old pedal singer sewing machine and a Bentwood butter churn, and serving bowls made in Bavaria that my great-grand parents brought from Germany when they immigrated in the 1850's

I still use a Blender very similar to the one shown.

I love old things...including me, lol...My daughter doesn't understand why I prefer my old baking utensils...it's because they've lasted through 50 years and are still going strong...I'm used to them, they fit my hand and bring back memories of how excited I was when I first got them.

I have a hand carved table and a cedar chest made by my great grandfather. I saw to it that my daughter has her great aunt's cedar chest. We as a family still have some priceless vases made into lamps. Every time we use one of these pieces there is a feeling of nostalgia, joy, love, continuity. It means a lot.

Antiques always have special meaning for some as cherished posessions and aren't given up easily, bring passed from one generation to the next. I have a pedal Singer sewing machine my grandmother used and my mom used as well until my dad got her an electric one.
