I think I loved horses, from the time I could walk. I grew up, riding first one and then another. I had a cousin, a friend, a neighbor of my uncle's, all of these people would either let me take turns or they had several and I rode by myself. Finally got me a small farm, had four horses, chased horses at two o'clock in the morning, to put them back in pasture. They tore down every fence I put up. I found out about the saying, " the grass is always greener, on the other side". I don't regret it. I would come home in the morning from work, saddle a horse, and ride through the fields, as the sun was warming my back. Thank you Lord.

I have horses, and I knew all this except about the blood types. Horses are one of God's most magnificent creations. Even though I've had them all my life, I still can't believe that they allow us to ride and train them to do so many things.

Mildred Hartley Durgin, that's so funny! That horse knew how to get revenge if he didn't get his food. After putting all the cows back, I wouldn't forget to feed him by his requested time. I'd probably feed him by three pm. Better safe than sorry - lol
